Axl Delivers Chinese Democracy, Pigs Fly

They swore Chinese democracy would come before Chinese Democracy but two presidents, nine solar eclipses and 14 Dick Clark Rockin’ Eve’s later, Axl Rose has reportedly handed over his long-awaited album to Geffen Records.

The one thing holding up release at this point is money with production said to be estimated at a whopping $13 million dollars. The label is negotiating with Rose over the money and rights to the album, which I’m sure will be settled by the time I start cashing in my 401k.

Though Rose fails to get with the times in regards to getting dropped by his label, releasing the album on his own and charging concerts goers $575 per ticket, which they will no doubt buy, he is getting up to date in another way. He may get his own reality show! Joy! The show is set around – you guessed it – the making of Chinese Democracy. The series plans to run the length of my next lifetime. Can’t wait!
