Canadian rockers Barenaked Ladies have finished another record; however, unlike previous efforts, this disc is aimed primarily at toddlers, rugrats, and various other short people who haven’t learned to read. The band members have eleven kids between them, and they’ve long contemplated writing material for children. With tracks like “Pollywog in a Bog” and “The Ninjas”, this LP seems to do the trick.
According to Billboard, Snacktime contains twenty-two new tracks and should be available on May 6th, by way of the band’s own record label Desperation. I love the Barenaked Ladies’ music just as much as the next guy, but I honestly wish the affable musicians would spend more time on their real calling: contributing to VH1 countdown shows.
