Boy George Holds Man Hostage

Forty-seven year old George O’Down has been formally charged with the false imprisonment of a twenty-eight year old London resident. Hardly his first run in with police, the former Culture Club lead singer has been arrested numerous times since he split with the multi-platinum band in 1987. Details are still fuzzy at this point, but it appears Boy George unlawfully held the much younger man inside his residence for an unknown period of time back in April. How did depriving someone of their liberties seem like a good idea?

According to CNN, the eccentric frontman is due back in court on November 22nd. Shockingly, his agent has refused to comment. Note to George: remember that androgynous crooner, swaying and gently singing “Karma Chamaeleon”? We need more of him and less of this hostage holding psychopath.
