Silly me to think the pop starlet couldn’t fit anymore bizarre headlines under her name! According to Music-News.com, French producer Phillippe Rebboah has approached the singer to portray the mother of Christ in a satirical film of the Nativity story called Sweet Baby Jesus.

Rebboah told Us Weekly magazine, “I had to convince my partners, because they were like, ‘Oh, no. Britney?’ But I thought it was brilliant.” Why, exactly, I haven’t quite figured out yet.

The modern retelling of the Christian story depicts Mary as a pregnant 19-year-old unsure of her baby's paternity, says Music-News, and goes into labor on Christmas Eve in Bethlehem, Maryland, amid rumors the birth is the second coming of Jesus Christ. I suppose baby Jesus will also be involved in the custody battle between Spears and K-Fed?
