Disputed 50 Cent Home Mysteriously TorchedAuthor: Peter Kimmich

The fire was reported at 4:59 a.m. this morning and put out only 45 minutes later, the Associated Press reported, yet it managed to completely consume one of the biggest homes in the Dix Hills area of Long Island, NY. Maybe it’s an isolated incident. And maybe Prince prepares before he plays Radiohead covers. Six sheisty home squatters, including Tompkins and the 10-year-old son she shares with 50, Marquise, were brought to the hospital suffering smoke inhalation. 50 Cent had reportedly promised Tompkins a house while they were still together, but since their breakup, he had wanted to evict her and their son from the mansion. This, coincidence though it might have been, was definitely one way to do that. 50 is, of course, prepared with a solid alibi. "Informed this morning while filming a new motion picture on location in Louisiana, Curtis Jackson expressed deep concern over this fire at his property," his representative said in a statement. "He is extremely thankful that everyone including his son, Marquise, escaped the burning house safely. He is confident that authorities will be conducting a thorough investigation of the incident and is eager to review their findings." This is all very fishy. Did 50 pay someone off? Did Tompkins try to make it look like he did? Did someone just leave a candle somewhere? And does Prince read lyric sheets? Whatever wonky shit went down, there can only be two outcomes to this situation: either 50 Cent is a lawless badass who torched his ex’s house, or 50 Cent is a lawless badass whose ex torched her own house. Regardless, you can guarantee we will be watching you, 50 and Shaniqua. From a very, very safe distance.
