Free Becoming Key To Radiohead’s Vocabulary

We almost made it a full week without reporting on Radiohead…on April 1st of this year, Radiohead will be playing a free gig. Yes, I said free, as in a no money down, first come first serve manner. But don’t get your knickers into a twist; unless you can afford a thousand dollar plane ticket (defeating the purpose of free), or are British and reading this, we Amers will be sitting at home on our arses when this hullabaloo goes down.

The extravaganza will be taking place inside BBC's Radio Theatre, which apparently is located in London. Fans can apply for tickets until this Thursday, so if you’ll be in that general area come April 1, I suggest you call the following number. 08700 100 200. It’s worth a shot, right?

In the meantime, I’ll be sitting imperturbably at home, painstakingly contemplating, Emily Dickinson style, all the other free events/merchandise/music Radiohead may send my way. Free Thom Yorke bobble head dolls, anyone?
