We all remember Andrew Ridgeley as the brains and talent behind mega-selling 80s pop group Wham!, but apparently, the other guy, George Michael, is still alive and kicking too. Who knew?

According to NME, the singer has signed a deal with Harper-Collins to pen his memoirs. A spokesman for the publishing house said the autobiography would be “truly authentic”, though, it’s unclear if that means Michael will touch on his arrest for engaging in lewd homosexual acts with a police officer or either of his busts for passing out in a drugged-up haze while at the wheel.

I was initially skeptically about why the multi-platinum artist would want to write about his life, but rumors are currently circulating that cite the advance at several million dollars.
