Guns N' Roses Reunion Without Axl Rose

Guns N' Roses' original line-up will reform to mark the 20th anniversary of the band's album Appetite For Destruction - but without lead singer Axl Rose.

Drummer Stephen Adler claims the event will take place at Los Angeles' Key Club on 28 July - and include original members Slash, Izzy Stradlin and Duff McKagan. The Key Club's website advertises performances by the drummer's band Adler's Appetite and LA Guns - the band that spawned Guns N' Roses.

Adler writes on the site, "I'll be down there with my band and Slash, Izzy (Stradlin, guitarist) and Duff (McKagan, bass) will be there too. It's gonna be great."

Although Rose is not expected - Adler insists a full reunion will eventually happen: "Axl and I spoke to each other in Las Vegas recently, and I know there's a chance. It's just too big. "Whatever the Stones make when they play, we'd triple it. It'd be ridiculous not to do it. He can't be that goofy."

OK. Have any of you heard Chinese Democracy? It's terrible! One of the most disappointing albums i've ever heard.. Now on the other hand, Slash's Snakepit (especially their first album) and Velvet Revolver, are great. Better to have the rest of the band without Axl than to have Axl without the rest of the band. Chinese Democracy proved that. I'm just glad I didn't pay for that piece of crap. I downloaded it, listened to it, and promptly deleted it, as it was just wasting hard drive space and would probably never be listened to again (at least not by me). Sure, a full GNR reunion would be awesome, and maybe we'll see one in the future.. Until then, until he can prove me wrong, I've lost all respect for Axl as a musician (I lost all respect for him as a person years ago).

GNR without Axl would not be the same!

I hope GNR do a tour it would be amazing!
Im a young fan of GNR and i've ALWAYS dreamed of seeing the original members of GNR

There are alot of haters of Steven out there but he has changed his whole life around and wants to
re-join the band

I really hope he does!

If Guns N Roses did do a tour it would sell out in secounds!

I agree with Toni, It's not gonna be the same. Axl's voice is too good, and he's, like, the sex GOD of all sex gods!
