Don’t be alarmed, people. It’s actually great news. Former ska goddess, Gwen Stefani, has checked into Cedars-Sinai Hospital’s Medical Center where she is expected to give birth to her second child with Bush front-man-turned-actor, Gavin Rossdale.

Stafani will be giving birth via Caesarian-section on Thursday, sources at reported. As to whether the child is a boy or girl, it’s going to be as much a surprise to fans as to the happily married parents. Rossdale spilled to sources at OK! Magazine the child will be born “in a black room”: “We don't know if it's a boy or a girl. It'll be a Goth baby so it doesn't matter if it is a boy or a girl.” So much for just hoping the child is healthy and has all its fingers and toes.

This will be Stefani and Rossdale’s second child, their first being now two-year-old, Kingston. I’d like to go on record as saying congratulations Gavin and Gwen. I hope the child, boy or girl, is as healthy, and as Goth, as they come!
