Johansson And Bowie Unite
I love Almost Famous. A lot. Actually, I enjoy it so much it would probably be included in my own top ten film list, but there’s one scene, in particular, which stands well above the rest. Well, actually there’s two. The Tiny Dancer singalong is filmed happiness, but the pinnacle of that motion picture is actually a throwaway for most people. William is checking into a hotel, and a large crowd has gathered to wait for David Bowie. He emerges, covering his face, and an incredibly young Nick Swardson (think Grandma’s Boy) screams, “It’s Bowie!” at the top of his lungs. That’s how I feel every time someone puts on “Rebel Rebel” or “Changes” or “Fame.” It’s Bowie!

Apparently, Scarlett Johansson feels the same way because after meeting the singer at a party, she enlisted his services for two tracks on her upcoming debut album Anywhere I Lay My Head. The disc was produced by TV On The Radio member Dave Sitek and features ten Tom Waits covers. Sexy. According to Billboard, the producer referred to the album as having a “cough medicine/Tinker Bell” quality. I’m not sure what that means, but it might have caused Pimp C’s overdose. Hey-0!

On a related story, David Bowie and Scarlett Johansson need to have incredibly hot babies right now. Imagine if they had twins! The possabilities are endless–for me–in my mind. The LP drops on May 20th. I have no idea what to expect, but the busty actress has never done me wrong in the past.
