Justin Timberlake Leads Polls In Pop Star Election

As Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton duke it out for possible control of America and the free world, a whole other kind of election is going on in Madonna’s head: the election for the perfect pop star.

Music-news.com reported yesterday that Madonna has endorsed Justin Timberlake as her candidate for perfect pop star. “He’s ambitious but not in an offensive way. He’s incredibly responsible and he’s good at what he does and I think he has a long future in front of him. He understands the insanity of being a pop star.”

With such moving words how can JT not win? It seems that the top contenders Timberlake faces in his bid are: Beyonce who Jay-Z has endorsed over and over again, Miley Cyrus who is counting on a young voter turnout, and Bill Cosby who insists on being relevant, even if he has to freestyle his acceptance speech. Britney Spears will reportedly run as an independent; no word yet on her platform or any endorsements. All this comes after Snoop Dogg, the Green Party candidate, dropped out earlier this week, stating “My nephew Timberlizzle is gonna kizzle the competizzle, fo shizzle.” Mark another one for Timberlake. All candidates await Simon Cowell’s endorsement.
