Looters Walk Off With Bob Marley's Legacy
I think I speak for everyone when I say what the fuck, Jamaican law enforcement officials? What the fuck? Thousands of historic vinyl recordings of Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and other Reggae pioneers have been stolen. Or misplaced. Or destroyed. No one really knows, least of all the incompetent security team assigned to protect the irreplaceable treasures. Apparently, Barney Fife and Chief Wiggum uncovered the possible heist after browsing through the Jamaican Broadcasting Building and noticing scores of empty shelves where the records used to be housed. That’s some solid detective work.

According to Billboard, a large collection of videos, including footage from Fidel Castro’s visit, have also been stolen. Or misplaced. Or destroyed. No one really knows. What a joke. Imagine Uncle Sam’s rage if someone walked out of the National Archives with the Declaration Of Independence. Wait, that already happened—in a movie critics wrote off as “far-fetched” and “unrealistic.” Apparently not so inconceivable for Jamaicans.
