The MTV Awards are returning to New York this summer, after being held in
Miami for the last two years.
The glitzy awards show, which will host the best in musical talent, is
taking place at the Radio City Music Hall in August.
Christina Norman, president of the popular music TV station, said: "New York
City is our hometown. We are really looking to showcase the music, culture
and people from every borough of this amazing city on TV, online, broadband
and wireless to fans around the globe."
Miami has hosted the awards at the American Airlines Arena since 2004, with
stars arriving by yacht and after-show parties held on fashionable South
Beach.
