Madonna Makes Mobile Phone History

Always a trendsetter, the Material Girl will release her new album, Hard Candy, a week early. The LP, not to be confused with the Counting Crows’ similarly titled 2002 CD, will hit Vodafone on April 21st–seven days before being shelved by your local Target or Best Buy or wherever the hell you kids shop nowadays.

According to NME, Hard Candy will be the first ever CD made available via mobile phone before actually being released. Hot and bothered Madonna fans can download one track a day during the week, except for Belgians, Germans, and Portuguese, and Spanish, those bastards can start uploading hot, sexy action today.
