Michael Jackson May Moonwalk Into Vegas

By Lexi Feinberg: 2006-12-27 00:00:00
Michael Jackson May Moonwalk Into Vegas When you think of Las Vegas, a few thoughts spring to mind: gambling. Hookers. Alcohol. Credit card debt. Maybe even Celine Dion. But if Michael Jackson has his way, Sin City will also make you think about…him.

E!Online reports that the fallen King of Pop is looking to jumpstart his career in the flashy Nevada city. After 18 months of living in seclusion in Bahrain and Ireland, he has packed up his kids and decided to relocate to Vegas. He’s sure hoping this comeback will have a happier ending than his last disastrous attempt.

Businessman Jack Wishna, trying to keep things on the hush-hush, told the Las Vegas Review-Journal: "Yes, he's here, and yes, we're working on projects. But we're not willing to disclose anything." The rumor mill suggests that he is looking to develop a live show on the Strip.

The news comes after more legal woes for Jackson, who recently sued his former accountants, Bernstein, Fox, Whitman, Goldman & Sloan. He claims they withdrew $2.5 million from his accounts each year, and used his funds to hire new people and delve into business plans without his consent. Sounds like someone should step away from their ratty VHS copy of Conspiracy Theory.

Will Jackson take Vegas by storm? There always seems to be a storm wherever he goes, but he is crossing his fingers for clear skies ahead.

  1. Khaleroo Says:

Are you saying that he is imagining his accountants stole money from him?

oh yes. that would be outrageous.

  1. JOE Says:

yes totally outrageous, that's why it's so believable.

  1. The IRS Auditor 2007 Says:

Michael Jackson is suing everybody trying to avoid payment. It's a last ditch strategy for people who were once wealthy, but are now broke. He ran fraudulent charities - and got caught. He stiffed his employees during two holiday seasons, and he even gaffed off payment to the lawyer who got him off the molestation charges in the Arviso trial.

I'll be watching for his tax return to come in. We're going to take a real close look at his deductions for legal expenses.

By the way MJ, when are you going to pay your property taxes? You're now $191,000 in arrears and sinking fast.
