Prince Loves Him Some Winehouse

For the last few weeks, pint-sized legend Prince has been blabbering on about just how much he wants to work with Amy Winehouse. Unfortunately, the troubled songstress has been everywhere but on stage with Mr. Purple Rain. With Prince currently in the midst of some highly touted London gigs, it originally appeared that the collaboration would be delayed indefinitely, but in accordance with my history of rash judgements, I was one hundred percent wrong.

According to Music-News, the duo took the stage together after Prince’s Friday concert and brought the house down with a rendition of “Love Is A Losing Game.” Holy shit, I wish I lived in London. Say what you want about the (formerly?) drug addicted diva, but she can certainly sing her skinny little ass off. In fact, that’s probably how she got so emaciated. There’s no word yet on whether this partnership was a one and done deal, but for the sake of music, let’s hope the duet was the first of many.
