Just kidding, it was only a joke, please put away the coat hanger. Seriously, NME.com announced the remainder of the press-consuming band’s tour dates Monday, ending the suspense felt by countless web stalkers and beginning the nerve-wracking countdown to acquire tickets in the tiny window before they sell out. Radiohead’s dark, but pensively uplifting, tour path will start August 1st in Chicaga-palooza, where they meet up with fellow Internet-jockeys Nine Inch Nails, and where slaps will doubtless be thrown. The band and its entourage of rabid taggers-along will continue throughout the Midwest and northern states, venturing into the great white north of Canada, and ending with not one but three yummy southern California dates. Ticket sale times vary, so get online or set your ticket alerts ASAP. I, for one, am clearing my calendar for the morning of Saturday, April 12 in order to get in on the Hollywood Bowl action. Godspeed, North America.
