Scarlett Johansson Video Released

It’s time once again to perpetuate the crush Cinema Blend has on its favorite screen star-turned-studio starlet. That’s right, it’s the official CB Scarlett Johansson Update. We’re so damn cute.
The singer has just come out with a new video for “Falling Down,” the first single off of her forthcoming new album. For those who haven’t been paying attention, the album is titled Anywhere I Lay My Head and features 10 Tom Waits covers and one original track. Scarlett’s take on the song is obviously more produced than the original, with gospel-like backing vocals and Johansson’s throaty, husky voice dominating the arrangement. Tom Waits fans may accuse her version of sounding more “bored” or controlled than the original, but in Scarlett’s favor, it’s hard to be less controlled than ol’ Tom.
