Scott Weiland Debunks Velvet Revolver Breakup, Sort Of

Relax Guns N Roses and Stone Temple Violet fans, Velvet Revolver probably aren’t breaking up. In response to drummer Matt Sorum’s blog about Weiland telling a Scottish crowd that they were watching Velvet Revolvers “last tour” Weiland took to Blabbermouth. to rip him a new one.

Weiland’s “last tour” comment fell dumbfounded on the rest of the band, according to fans at the show. Sorum wrote, “Being in a band is a lot like being in a relationship. Sometimes you just don’t get along.” To which Weiland responded, “He is too immature to have a real relationship, let alone children. So don't attempt to stand in a man's shoes when you haven't walked his path.”

The bickering didn’t end there. Sorum wrote, “Unfortunately, some people in this business don't realize how great of a life they have.” And Weiland said, “ego and jealousy can get the better of anyone.” I'm sure it doesn't help rumors that Stone Temple Pilots are reuniting this summer for festival apperances. And these are the guys who are supposed to open for Led Zeppelin?
