Sheryl Crow Releases New Video

Is it me or is Sheryl Crow getting hotter with age? Don’t get me wrong, she was cute when Tuesday Morning Music Club came out, but something changed by the time her video for “Soak Up The Sun” seduced me eight years later. I’m convinced she sold her soul to Aphrodite or at least found Ponce de Leon’s Fountain of Youth. It’s not fair. While the rest of us schlubs get more homely by the day, Sheryl Crow sucks down magic sexy vitamins and continues to look like the prom queen. Oh well. It’s best not to question. Just enjoy her beautiful voice and bask in the glorious view.

Always a politically-conscious performer, the first video off Crow’s upcoming album, Detours, is called “Love Is Free”, and she took some time out to describe it . “The song ‘Love Is Free’ is inspired by New Orleans. What struck me about it is the stoicism of the New Orleans people, they are spiritually based. You can see it in their eyes that they aren’t going to give up, they are going to rebuild.” Detours is tentatively scheduled to drop February 5th.
