Simple Plan churns out pop-punk hits with more fast-paced indifference than the TY company callously sewed Beanie Babies around 1998. Three chord introduction/ sappy semi-depressing teenage angst lyrics/ repeat. Apparently, millions of people are into this sort of thing (judging by record sales), including music network Fuse, which used to run their videos at least once an hour while I was in high school. I don’t get it, but I’m payed to report the news.

’ According to Billboard, Simple Plan has announced it will introduce their new single, “When I’m Gone”, on their official website. The live webcast will take place on October 29th and feature more information on their upcoming album. Woohoo! There’s no word yet on a possible title, but I’m guessing it will be a not-so veiled PG-13 sex reference like their other two underwhelming hit makers.
