As the once-described “boss of bad attitude,” Sinatra can sit in on any crowd. His fare is right at home drifting through stained-oak taverns, just as it is segwaying between bands at punk shows. You want to add a degree of class to any party? Throw on a Sinatra disc. No one will have any complaints, and anyone who does will be immediately overridden by the mob of Frank’s supporters – the best part is, it works that way in any crowd.

Demonstrating Frank’s unquestioned authority once again is the success of his latest compilation, titled Nothing But The Best. The 22-track disc was released May 13 to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the boss’s death, debuting at number 2 on Billboard’s weekly Top 200 chart and marking his highest chart position in nearly 15 years. If that’s not doing it his way, you can smack the rakishly-cocked fedora off my head.
