At age 60, Steven Tyler, the front man for hotel-room razing marauders Aerosmith and father to the hottest elf we’ve ever seen, is checking himself into rehab after over 20 years of sobriety, MTV News reported Wednesday. He is currently the most awesome patient at Las Encinas Hospital’s drug rehab clinic in Pasadena, California – incidentally the filming location for the reality series Celebrity Rehab and the workplace of Dr. Drew Pinsky, of Loveline fame. You know you listen to it.
Reports do not divulge much, but the rumor mill is tossing around speculation surrounding Tyler’s relationship issues with wife Erin Brady, and recent treatments for his hepatitis C. Of course, the most likely scenario is simply that the accumulated awesomeness in Tyler’s bloodstream was creating a drunken effect. He was plainly drunken with awesomeness.
Here’s to hoping the former Toxic Twin gets it together to see his 4,061st birthday.

i am 52 and have been battling addiction most of my life. started at 12..today is my 90th day sober and in recovery we know that is a milestone. you have had problems, even having to get a new liver cause of hep c..which i also have. the battle of addiction never leaves us..always one day at a time. we make mistakes and probablly always will, cause it is human nature. don't be too hard on yourself..just get back on right course, cause life is hard ...but there are so many more good days than bad when you are sober. wishing you and all other addicts the courage to accept the things you cannot change, and that be we are addicts.
Hi Steve Wishing you all the best in your war for recovery.Like many of our generation I have been there done that and so have you so have faith and win this battle. Good for you for recognizing that saying no no no to rehab is a bad idea. xoxo Rebecca
Hey, Steve. I know how hard rehab is, been there done that. This is coming from someone who's been there. I'm a recovering alcoholic/addict. It's tough, I know, but you did it once before, you can do it again. I'll be praying for you to kick it again. Remember your song "Amazing" it'll help you through it all. I have faith in you. YOU CAN DO IT!!! Good Luck Sweetie.
