Titled “The Only One” this first single will also include B-side “NY Trip” which will not appear on the group’s double-disc album, their first since a 2004 self-titled effort. Worry not, for he has promised “songs about relationships, the material world, politics and religion” to accompany the album, originally slated for early 2007. “[The songs are] very upfront and dynamic. People will be surprised how stripped-down and in-your-face the record is,” Smith told Billboard last year.
