Trent Reznor Banks 1.6 Million From Internet
There might be a future in this whole internet downloading thing. Nine Inch Nails leader Trent Reznor announced the album Ghosts I-IV was downloaded approximately eight hundred thousand times, a grouping of transactions which netted the band over a million and a half dollars. Not too bad for a hastily thrown together disc without vocals.

According to Billboard, a more traditional dual CD will hit stores between April 5th and April 8th, depending on where you live. It should be noted none of these figures have been verified by Soundscan or any other third party tracker, but since Trent Reznor seems like a pretty honest dude, I’ll go ahead and believe him. I haven’t heard the LP yet, but all who have seem to be ranting and raving. Head on over to the band’s official website for more information.
