Weezer Seeing Red

Bitch may be the new black, but red is the new blue, at least according to Weezer. The coolest band ever comprised of mainly uncools (well, at least since Cheap Trick) announced a few details on their upcoming third self-titled album, mainly that the cover art will be red and should hit stores on June 17th via Interscope.

Pitchfork just told me the above photograph is a promotional shot for the LP and those snazzy helmets are, in fact, for playing polo. Way to go, Weezer. You guys continue to find fascinating new reasons for me to say, “Huh.”
