When Did The Foo Fighters Get So Big?
I like the Foo Fighters. The Colour And The Shape is a solid album, and their acoustic version of “Times Like These” is probably one of my twenty-five favorite songs of all-time. I always assumed most people pretty much felt the same way. Wrong. Apparently, the whole world can’t get enough of Dave Grohl’s wacky shenanigans. And by whole world, I mean the eighty-six thousand screaming, blindly-devoted Europeans who packed Wembley Stadium today.

But I’m not going to spew that filth because it’s impossible to begrudge the Foo Fighters anything. They’re the Tom Hanks of singable rock music–not the greatest of all-time but just so charmingly likeable.
