Heroin chique is back. Well, at least for one night, the emaciated and sickly appearance of Amy Winehouse will be all the rage, as the singer has been offered five hundred thousand Quid to play Paris Fashion Week. I wish I made two hundred and fifty thousand an hour. Then, I wouldn’t have to limit my smoking expenses to less than fifty dollars a week.

According to British Tabloid The Sun, the huge payday will cause Winehouse to miss her husband’s next court appearance, but she can hardly be faulted for this one. She may have vowed to be there in sickness and in health, but wedding banter doesn’t cover choosing your waste of life spouse over sick amounts of cash. I’d have done the same thing. Then again, I don’t plan on tie the knot with an alpha male douche bag prone to intimidating witnesses anytime soon.
