Yep, New Kids Are Back On The BlockAuthor: Peter Kimmich

According to eFluxMedia Friday, the boy band – maybe I should say “man band” – is planning a new album of material written mostly by Wahlberg, McIntyre and Jordan Knight, and is putting together a tour to promote said album. “The fan response to this has been incredible,” Wahlberg told the Boston Herald, while fending off 34-year-old cheerleaders. After the band’s split in 1994, Jordan Knight, Wood and McIntyre all released solo albums, while Wahlberg delved into acting. Jonathan knight, evidently the black sheep of the group, became the world’s most boyishly cute real estate developer. But it was Wahlberg who hesitated when the group decided to reform, saying he had no interest on doing a “nostalgia tour” with no new material. The lure of recording a new album quickly turned him around, though, and he even promised to bring some of the old tunes out of the hamper for the group’s evidently still-rabid fans. NKOTB.com now awaits the flurry of giggly, excited clicks, boasting recent photos (which unfortunately may reveal up to two goatees…) and upcoming tour dates. Meanwhile, girls everywhere are slowly coasting towards bonkersville, and I am fully prepared to raise a pensive eyebrow again, just like 4th grade.
