My Bloody Valentine Reunite For NY Fest

The new year bought about rumors that alternative Irish-rock punks My Bloody Valentine would be returning from their 16-year performance hiatus to headline the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. The California festival's lineup debuted sans the band, to major disappointment, however MBV are in fact returning to America and instead will season the east coast by curating an All Tomorrow’s Parties Festival in upstate New York.

Set for September 19-21 in Monticello, N.Y., this would be the first All Tomorrow’s Parties event in America since 2004’s LA fest, which featured curaters Modest Mouse. England’s December version saw appearances from Portishead and a rarely-seen-in-the-flesh Aphex Twin. Along for the ride at the NY fest are four artists set to perform albums in their entirety including the Meat Puppets doing Meat Puppets II and Built to Spill performing Perfect From Now On.
