You may have seen my review of Let the Right One Inhere, or my exclusive interview with the movie's director here, or you may have just seen that the movie has a near-flawless 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Either way, you should want to see this movie by now, and now there's a red-band trailer to pique your interest even further.
Yes, it's a movie about a love story between a teenager vampire and a regular kid, but this is sooo not like twilight. The movie is set in Sweden during the winter, and is as spooky and strange as Twilight is bound to be stuffed with pop songs and pretty haircuts. But it's not excessively bloody either-- it's a little strange to me that the trailer has to be red-band, given that most of what you see is just hints of violence and a little blood. But trailer laws are strict in this country, and you can get the trailer just as easily on YouTube, so there's really no difference at all.
Check out the trailer below, and even if you don't live in a major city, look for Let the Right One In after it debuts this weekend. This is one arty, foreign film with a really, really good chance of crossing over.
