Do you think Robert Pattinson will look different on film, now that he's a movie star? Will he carry some of that vampire sparkle with him wherever he goes? We'll get a chance to find out in Parts Per Billion, the indie drama that will be Pattinson's first new role since breaking hearts coast to coast as Edward Cullen.
Rosario Dawson, who will co-star with Pattinson in the ensemble drama, told MTV about the project while promoting Seven Pounds. Given that it's one of those dramas where there are intertwined stories that never connect, Dawson and Pattinson don't actually act together in the film. "But we’re all within the same group of people, and the same city of people, that are responding to a life-threatening situation," Dawson explains.
The movie is directed by newcomer Brian Horiuchi, and also stars indie darling Olivia Thirlby and Dennis Hopper. Once again Pattinson is finding himself in the right company for his next project, and may be able to outlive the reputation of Edward Cullen after all. Maybe.
