Full Trailer For Knowing

The first full trailer for Knowing, the new movie from Dark City director Alex Proyas is here. Unfortunately now that he’s been saddled with the many wigs of Nicolas Cage, his movies are forced to bear the label of “from the director of I, Robot” instead of the preferable “from the director of Dark City and The Crow”. I’m sure Proyas isn’t any happier with that than his fans are.

This longer trailer adds some new wrinkles to the plot of the film. We knew that it was about a mysterious letter found in a time capsule, which predicts every major disaster on Earth, leading up to one mega-disaster which probably won’t be good for anyone. What we didn’t know is that it was also some sort of weird horror movie with creepy strangers called “The Whisperers” lurking in the woods and terrorizing little children.
