Greg Mottola became a big deal out of nowhere when the movie he directed in 2007, Superbad, became a huge surprise hit. And for his follow-up film Adventureland, he's sticking to somewhat familiar territory-- horny teenage boys, summertime adventures, and Bill Hader.All three are very evident in the two clips from the film that AICN got their hands on. Neither of them give as good a sense of the movie as the trailer, but it demonstrates some off-kilter humor that will distinguish it from a zillion other raunchy coming-of-age stories. Plus, the first clip has Kristen Wiig in it, doing her priceless passive-aggressive comedy thing. Check out the two clips below, and tell me it doesn't make you feel just a little bit of that wistful summertime joy. Ah to be 17 again and working a crappy job at a low-rent amusement park.
