After firing Howard Shore earlier this week, Peter Jackson has moved on to more important things... advertising! Movie City News has what they claim to be a new King Kong teaser poster. Frankly, I'm not sure if it is real but that hasn't stopped me from reporting a story before! Take a look for yourself. If it is real, it's awfully disappointing to me. How about something that does a bit of storytelling or at least pays homage to the time period the movie is set? I'm sure the PJ apologists will scream he can do no wrong, but this looks dreadfully mediocre to me.
King Kong arrives in theatres on December 14, 2005 and stars Naomi Watts, Adrian Brody, and Jack Black.
