While Brett Ratner’s X-Men 3 disappointed fans and left them yearning for more of Bryan Singer’s magic, it still made a killing at the box office. And, as we all know by now, fans + money = lots and lots of (unnecessary) sequels and spin-offs. ComingSoon recently sat down with Shawn Ashmore (“Iceman”) to discuss the likelihood of extra X-Men movies. "I know they are doing a Wolverine prequel and I've heard a rumor about a Magneto film... those are all in the past like prequels and origin stories, so I don't know. There are rumors about an 'X-Men 4,' but as far as I've been told 'X3' was going to be the last big ensemble 'X-Men' movie. I would love if they made another one, but I'm not sure that they will," he said. Don’t worry Shawn—where there’s a bill, there’s a way. He did acknowledge that he "[has] a contract if they make another one." Even if his superhero days wind up numbered (fat chance), his career is taking a turn for the better. He can be seen next in the film 3 Needles about the expanding AIDS crisis. Instead of an icy touch, he’ll play a man with an alluring touch—as a porn star.
