Brittany Snow seems like a nice girl, so why does she keep getting tangled up in murders? The Prom Night actress staked a decent claim at being the next Scream Queen when that thriller hit #1 at the box office last spring, and now she's taking it to the bank with Breaking the Girl, an independent thriller.
The Hollywood Reporter says Snow will play Sara Ryan, a co-ed who befriends another student who also has an ax to grind. The two then plan to kill each others' enemies, in what's either an homage or a straight rip-off of Hitchcock's Strangers on a Train. Brittany Snow is probably making a mint by continuing her horror streak, and you can't begrudge a 22-year-old for making money while it lasts. I like Brittany Snow for reasons I can't even place, so I'll at least be hoping this doesn't mark the beginning of a long rut in Horrorville.
