A few months ago, we reported here on the casting of Lindsay Lohan in the upcoming Dylan Thomas semi-biopic The Best Time Of Our Lives. She was slated to play the part-time lesbian with Keira Knightley and full time wife of the famous poet. Sadly, like everything the buxom redhead touches, it imploded in a fiery shade of bitch, forever destroying my dreams of a Keira Knightley, Lindsay Lohan, and Mack Rawden three-way.
Thankfully, Sienna Miller has stepped up and signed on. That’s a phrase I’ll probably never utter again. Variety is reporting that the Jude Law ex will take on the roll of Caitlin MacNamara. Hopefully, she’ll make up for the debacle that was Factory Girl and her portrayal of the always exciting Edie Sedgwick.
I have to be honest. I don’t really understand this casting choice. The producers are essentially trading one troubled and oversexed harlot for another. It’s like swapping Peter Pan for Skippy, if they both were disease infested salmonella carriers.
Best Time Of Our Lives will begin shooting in May. Look for an interesting story, two beautiful women, and scores of girl-on-girl scissoring.
