It's the week of Christmas, so let's take a look at the end of the world! Seriously, I can't figure out why Terminator: Salvation is the only upcoming movie we're getting any information about. Isn't this supposed to be the season of joy and love? I guess the hope aspect works, given that John Connor is supposed to be the hope of the world-- even though he doesn't seem to be succeeding at that this time around.
Anyway, Film School Rejects unearthed two new photos from Terminator: Salvation, and don't ask where they originated, since I have no idea. In one of them, John Connor (Christian Bale) is getting up close and personal with a Terminator, though not the kind that looks like a human or even a T1000. The other one could almost be a generic watercolor of a pretty sunset, if not for the running solider and the flaming piece of wreckage.
We've got miniature versions below, and Film School Rejects has the full-size ones. Hey, if you look at that apocalyptic sunset in the second one, it almost looks like the warm glow of the Christmas tree. Hey, we at Cinema Blend are always keeping it topical.
