The 2011 Scream Awards Winners: Vampires, Wizards And Swans![]()
The Scream Awards haven’t actually aired yet, so if you’re saving yourself for the awards ceremony, which is set to premiere on Spike TV on Tuesday, October 18th, read no further! For those of you who just want to see which horror, sci-fi and fantasy films took home awards, read on...
We have the list of winners, which you’ll find below. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 did well, earning itself the “Ultimate Scream” award, in addition to numerous other awards, including a win for Daniel Radcliffe for Best Fantasy Actor, and a win for Ralph Fiennes for Best Villain. I don’t watch a lot of horror movies, so I’m hardly an expert here, however I loved Let Me In and particularly Chloe Grace Moretz’ haunting performance in it, which is why I’d say the film’s wins for Best Horror Movie and Best Horror Actress were well deserved. Another well-deserved award goes to Piranha 3D for snagging the “Most Memorable Mutilation” for the horrific scene that involved a girl’s hair getting caught in the engine of a motorboat. How Piranha 3DD manages to top that, I don’t know, but something tells me it’ll try when the film hits theaters next year. Here’s the list of Scream winners. The awards ceremony airs tomorrow night on Spike TV... The Ultimate Scream - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 |
