Last year’s sleeper hit 28 Days Later, the NON zombie movie directed by Danny Boyle, appears to be getting a follow up.

Fox Searchlight is developing 28 Weeks Later with Rowan Joffe (Last Resort) set to pen the script. It is said that Boyle won’t be directing but will join the original’s screenwriter and producer, Alex Garland and Andrew Macdonald, as either producers or executive producers.

No word yet on when they’re slating the flick to come out or when they’ll start filming, but nonetheless 28 Weeks Later appears to be a go.
