With Top Ten lists appearing everywhere, here’s another one to add to the list. The Top Ten Box Office Winners in the year 2004. Now granted, some of the films are still in theatres and are raking in more money as we speak...but as of Friday December 31st, the last day of 2004, these ten are how it stands.

It was a big year for Animation. Four Animated flicks cemented themselves on the list, one of which going on to be the #3 Box office champ of all time. Another trend on the list....sequels. With the second adventures from Jason Bourne, Peter Parker, the third installment at Hogwarts, and the blockbuster known as Shrek 2, big bucks were shelled out for some familiar stories.

This year an estimated $9.1 Billion was spent at the box office this year, a full $100 Million less than last year. Make of it what you will. Anways...enough yappin’ Here’s 2004's Top Ten...
