A Brain, A Bat, And A Joker

By Josh Tyler: 2007-05-21 11:30:36
A Brain, A Bat, And A Joker Batman is about to enter The Dead Zone. Or rather, The Dead Zone is about to enter Batman. Or something. Look the brainy kid from The Breakfast Club is all growed up and hanging out with Bruce Wayne. The point I’m getting to here is that Anthony Michael Hall is in The Dark Knight.

The news comes from the LA Daily News where Hall told them absolutely nothing about his part in the movie. Apparently his confidentiality agreement prevents him from even discussing the plot. He does reveal however, that he’s in it. Who is playing? Nobody knows, but it’s probably safe to assume he’s not Batgirl.

Christopher Nolan certainly hasn’t been shy about packing his movie with celebrity cameos. Batman Begins was full of famous faces and it looks like The Dark Knight will have even more of them. I guess celebrities are his idea of “gritty reality”. What, your city’s police commissioner doesn’t look like Gary Oldman?
