Michael Bay and company are sure trying their damnedest to keep us interested in their next foray into the world of Sam Witwicky and his robotic cohorts. It seems like at least once a day there’s something new sent out into the world from the set of Transformers 3, and today it comes from Superhero Hype.

Two images have surfaced; one of them a familiar shot of Shia LaBeouf and his arm candy sidekick running away from impending doom, and the other a really impressive shot of the destruction caused by Optimus Prime et al. as they try to protect the world from the treacherous Decepticons. It’s noting we haven’t seen before, but seeing a downtown Chicago so ravaged will make you want to give the set dresser a pretty serious high five.

Don’t expect the flood of set photos and teaser images to slow down over the next year before TF3's release. Bay and LaBeouf’s next film may just be the most heavily spied film ever since we’ve been getting videos from the set since the first day they started filming.
