It may not have Paul W.S. Anderson directing it, but the Silent Hill fanbase is starting to seem nearly as blinded as the one for Alien vs. Predator. Sure, Silent Hill might be good, but the history of videogame adaptations so far certainly doesn't make it seem very likely. According to some of the Silent Hill fans who like to email me, this notion is laughable. Apparently they have a ridiculous amount of faith in the film's director, the man behind the overrated French action film Brotherhood of the Wolf.

These obsessive fanbases aren't doing themselves any favors.
