AMC Offers Movie Marathon Leading Up To Thor: The Dark World

They did a major movie marathon for Joss Whedon’s The Avengers and another one for Shane Black’s Iron Man 3, and now AMC Theaters is gearing up to celebrate the release of Alan Taylor’s Thor: The Dark World in similar fashion. The theater chain has announced that on Thursday November 7th – a day that’s been dubbed THORsday – theaters nationwide will be hosting back-to-back screenings of both Kenneth Branagh’s Thor and The Avengers in preparation for an 8pm early premiere of the God of Thunder’s sequel.

Not only is it nice to get the opportunity to see three 3D movies in theaters for only $25, the purchase comes with some serious perks as well. AMC members who pre-order their tickets prior to November 7th will receive $5 AMC Stubs™ Bonus Bucks that can be used for future screenings at the theater, while everyone who attends the screenings will get one of two commemorative lanyards as well as one Thor: The Dark World poster featuring either the titular superhero (Chris Hemsworth) or his evil brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston). You can check out both poster options below:
