Admiral Adama Becomes A Slacker

By Katey Rich: 2009-04-22 11:16:21
Admiral Adama Becomes A Slacker Does anyone else feel weird about the notion of the Old Man starring in a slacker comedy? Sure, Edward James Olmos had a varied career before he signed on to play Admiral Adama on Battlestar Galactica, but given how recently the show went off the air, it's still hard to imagine him as anything but the hard-nosed leader of the remaining human race.

And yet, and actor's gotta eat. So Olmos and Danny Trejo, a.k.a. "Machete" from the pre-Grindhouse trailer, will team up in Hollywood Players, described by MovieHole as a slacker comedy about "two young brothers who inadvertently videotape a suspicious transaction that accidentally gets released on the web and the hilarious chaos that ensues when the whole neighbourhood tries to hunt them down to get the alleged goods."

No idea where either Olmos or Trejo fit into this plot, since neither of them could be described as young, though now I really want to see the two of them play brothers. Suppose we'll find out the details when the movie starts filming on July 13 in L.A.
