Let me preface this article by saying: I am not a horror enthusiast. I don’t dislike the genre, but I’m definitely not entertained or scared by your average, run of the mill spooks and zombie attacks. So, it should come as no surprise that I was less than thrilled by the age restricted trailer for 30 Days Of Night.

If you’ve never heard of this Sam Raimi produced fright-fest, I’ll give you the basic rundown. Essentially, Josh Hartnett and some others live in Alaska, and there’s a one month period every year where the town is shrouded in complete darkness. Naturally, some vampires hear about this through the old undead rumor mill, and they decide to have a look for themselves. Soon, they begin feasting on the gullible Alaskans, and Josh Harnett is forced to save the day. There’s also some little girls because most people seem to find it creepy when they turn into blood suckers.

I’m not planning on forking over eight dollars for this, but since I know a lot of you are interested in this graphic novel adaptation, I’m going to link you to the trailer.
