Ben advertises for V8

He’s been through JLo, Gigli, and Kevin Smith, but now Ben Affleck is getting back together with Matt Damon.

Damon and Affleck have signed up to star in a movie based on the true story of lawyers struggling pro bono (no doubt caused by a Viagra addiction) for 15 years to overturn a murder conviction. After nine stays of execution for their client John Thompson, they finally get him exonerated.

Variety says the still untitled film is being funded by Disney’s Touchstone Pictures and written by Chris Murphy. According to IMDB Chris is either a guy who played a “Partygoer” in Jacob’s Ladder, the voice of The Murray in the videogame “Sly Cooper and the Thievious Raccoonus”, or a Key Grip on Signs.
