When most people hear the word “documentary” they think stuff, boring, pretentious message movies. Well there’s at least one documentary that’s none of that, Air Guitar Nation is about guys dressing up like homeless superheroes and competing to see who can pretend to rock out the best on stage.

Blame Bill & Ted.

Cinema Blend’s Lexi Feinberg caught it at an early screening a few weeks ago and called Air Guitar Nation, “a wildly foolish flick that takes the best elements of stand-up comedy and mixes them with good, old-fashioned rock ‘n’ roll.” Now that sounds like something I want to see.

It’s finally getting a limited theatrical release on March 23rd this year, and to promote it they’ve just released the first trailer, poster, and a big batch of images from the film to use.
